Hike for Hospice 2011

Join us May 1, 2011 for the annual Canada wide Hike for Hospice and support your local Hospice, Lisaard House. The hike will be held at Riverside Park, Dolph Area in Cambridge. Registration is at 11:30 am. BBQ and prizes! Please contact Susan at 519-749-8716 if you would like to hike or just sponsor a hiker.

Specialty Services and Programs

Hair sample collection for drug testing

Nurses ensure chain of custody and collect hair samples for the purpose of testing for various drugs and alcohol. Drug testing is done through Motherisk, Hospital for Sick Children. This is often done for custody and legal reasons.

Companion Plus

The service delivers peace of mind to seniors and families alike. Services include home safety check-in, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, escorted outings, medication reminders, caregiver relief, 24 hour/7 day access. We can also assist finding other services such as home maintenance.

Long Term Care Companionship Services

You've found a quality Long Term Care facility for your parent. While your parent is in good hands, you know your mom or dad looks forward to visits from family and friends. Our friendly companions work with your parent's care team, providing escorts for appointments, one-on-one companionship for support, and social visits when you are out of town or unable to stop by.
